March 23, 2012 IndieGogo campaign

If you haven’t heard already, Dup was robbed of over $5000 worth of musical equipment back in February, including all the guitars, pedals, and mics used on both Saint Solitude records and tours for the past 4 years. Despite having renter’s insurance, his insurance company has denied coverage for most of this equipment. Last night, friends held DUPFEST, a benefit concert featuring many local bands, raffles, and silent auctions to help offset the massive blow to Dup’s musical career. The Asheville community has been super supportive and we managed to raise several hundred dollars for the cause!

Dup still has a long way to go in recovering a lot of this equipment though, and so we have an IndieGogo campaign started to help cover the rest. Please donate if you’re a friend, a musician, or anyone who knows how much it hurts to lose the tools of one’s trade. Thank you!
