“Grand Ellipses” video

Excited to share my collaboration with Psylock Creative (aka my friends – and the best neighbors – Deidre Locklear and Matthew Psyllos), the music video for "Grand Ellipses."

After several backyard bonfire brainstorms, D said she wanted to work on an idea that had been floating around her directorbrain. Having just finished a 6-month mixing period for the album, I was suffering from decision fatigue and happy to defer to someone else's vision. Like the true pros they are, her and Matt proceeded to storyboard out the whole idea and even told me what my wardrobe was, much to my relief (and I didn't even have to get a haircut). From there it was mostly about nailing down locations, and we ended up at some of the spots that define the East Bay to me – the Albany Bulb where I go to watch dogs swim, the Cotton Mill Studios I pass on the way to Stumble Abode every other day.

And after making so many albums largely by myself I now have a video with all my bandmates, the Duppelgangers.

Enjoy!
