Alive and Well Records is happy to announce the release of Saint Solitude’s sophomore effort, By Some Great Storm, due on September 27th, 2011.

The second album will feature 12 new originals that feature an ever-expanding array of song structures and fierce instrumentation while still maintaining the pop sentiments that made up 2010’sJournal of Retreat. Keeping with what has become tradition, Dup Crosson wrote and performed most of the music here and chose this time to record fully in a studio environment, working again with producer Andrew Schatzberg at the lovely Landslide Studio in Asheville, NC.

Saint Solitude will be touring the country again with a full band beginning in Autumn 2011. Look for tour dates and pre-order information soon!
